Hi all,

I am considering moving from my flat in London to a house up north. My flat is worth about £200000 but I still owe 139000 on the mortage. I would like to keep my flat and someone has mentioned that I would be able to release some equity from it in order to put a deposit down on a house up north ( property will cost no more than £250000). My partner and I earn apprx £110000 per annum and have no other significant financial commitments. Is our plan possible?
