I was wondering whether someone could help.

Last year I paid off my mortgage and now my son wants to purchase his own house and I wanted to know whether I could remortgage my property for his deposit?

Yes that is definitelty an option.

There will actually be several ways for you to help your son, bet advice I can give is to speak to an independent mortgage broker who will explain your options and the benefits & drawbacks of each.
